Why JEM? Those are my initials and reference to the "gem" I found when I discovered Pilates. I started my journey In June of 2022. I began pilates to help me recover from a knee replacement surgery. While it certainly helped me with that, it also helped me release stress in my body and mind. I am now 433 classes stronger and have found something I am passionate about. So much so, that I am in the process of finding a program to help me become a certified Pilates Instructor.
The places I am investigating are Breathe Education, Basi, and Balanced Body. I'd like to share what I have learned about each program so far.
